The new picker component will make your prototypes rock!

One of the coolest iOS UI components that really gives the user a unique experience is the picker view (UIPickerView).  It uses the spinning-wheel or slot-machine metaphor and makes value selection fun and exciting. When prototyping it is important to give your client the greatest experience possible. Well, we have just done that!

We have developed a brand new picker component in Proto.io that not only looks like the iOS picker view but also feels and interacts like the real one.

Proto.io picker component is fully customizable. You can choose colors, values, size and several other properties. And believe it or not, it works smoothly in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, iPhone, iPad, and Android (sorry no more devices tested at the moment).

It might be the first time that the iOS UIPickerView is so well simulated with HTML5 and Javascript!
