As 2011 is coming to an end we would like to express our gratitude to the wonderful Proto.io community and friends and wish everyone happy holidays and a wonderful 2012!
We had a great launch-year for Proto.io. Proto.io was quickly welcomed by the UI and UX communities as an important stakeholder when it comes to mobile app prototyping. Over the last few months we have been collecting your valuable comments, suggestions and feedback. We have analyzed, explored and examined your input very carefully to come back to what we think it will be the next generation of mobile app prototyping — the Proto.io V2.
For the past couple of months we have been re-engineering Proto.io. The new Proto.io has a completely new UI at all levels, the website, the dashboard, the editor, the player, even the blog :-) The new design and UI will merely be one of the changes. New functionality, performance improvements and other various features (sorry but we like to keep a few as a secret) will accompany the new release to make Proto.io even more powerful and always silly-fast! When? The first release of the new platform will be in early February 2012 with subsequent smaller releases to follow in the following couple of months.
Soon after the V2 launch we will release the long expected Android UI (mid-February). To the Android community out there… thank you for your patience! We had to put Android on hold in order to prepare the platform for the massive changes we are implementing, however it is almost here!
