As we settle into 2013, we would like to take a few moments to wish you a very happy and prosperous New Year and thank you for all your support in 2012.
Our mission at Proto.io is to provide high quality interactive prototyping tools to enable faster and more productive development cycles. To achieve this we continuously collect and examine your valuable feedback and transform that to new features. This month’s newsletter gives you some insights as to what’s happening now and what’s coming soon later this year.
New release v3.4 – Grid system, smart guides and user guides Just yesterday, we released 3.4. As we are long committed to improve productivity, usability and user experience we have introduced smart guides and user guides to Proto.io as well as a fully configurable grid system. UI items can not only snap to grid but also to other UI items on canvas by enabling the smart guides feature. You can also drag and drop your own smart guides on the canvas for your own convenience. A fully customizable grid system also comes handy to help you with your prototype layout.
In addition to the above, we’ve tweaked different parts of the system, ranging from component improvements to several minor issue fixes. Most importantly we have improved memory management and performance considerably.
You may track all the changes happenning to Proto.io at our change log.

Staying faithful to our last year’s commitment we already started working on the new Proto.io editor interface. There’s still a long way to go but here’s a sneak preview on how it will look like. Feel free to send us your comments and suggestions at info@proto.io!.
